Joining the company in 2021, Kaitlynn Sardam is responsible for preparation and review of fund financials and quarterly investor reporting, implementation of internal accounting systems and operations procedures, capital calls and distributions, insurance risk analysis, custody of funds and securities, REIT compliance, line of credit maintenance, and review of federal and state tax filings for the Morrison Street Funds and investments. She is also responsible for all aspects of accounting as it relates to the Funds’ assets. Ms. Sardam works with property managers, partners, lenders and borrowers for all of the Funds’ individual investments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with operating agreements and loan documents. She plays a key role in the completion of annual fund audits and tax return preparation working closely with auditors and tax accountants. She also provides support to the acquisition team as it relates to the acquisition of new assets and the asset managers in disposition of assets.

Prior to joining the company, Ms. Sardam worked at KPMG, LLP in the Audit and Assurance practice for six years and then moved to industry where, for the past six years, she focused on technical accounting matters for a Portland-based health insurance company.

Ms. Sardam received her Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Oregon. She is a certified public accountant.
