Peter Sherman joined Morrison Street Capital in 2018. Out of the firm’s New York office, Mr. Sherman is responsible for the sourcing, underwriting, due diligence and closing of new investments for the Morrison Street Funds.

Previously, Mr. Sherman worked as an Associate Director at Marcus & Millichap within the investment sales division. In this role, he was responsible for the financial analysis and underwriting of all client acquisitions and dispositions across all property types, with a primary focus on retail properties. During his time there, he actively participated in the analysis of over 350 properties with an estimated value of over $2.5 billion.  Mr. Sherman began his career at VEREIT (formerly ARCP), a real estate investment trust based in New York, where he actively participated in the underwriting, pricing and diligence of large entity- and portfolio-level transactions.

Mr. Sherman received his bachelor’s degree in economics from Binghamton University.
